Durante o dia de hoje, estivemos a planear a melhor forma de construir um pequeno abrigo com o menor custo possível. Mais uma vez as paletes ou partes de paletes de que ainda dispúnhamos revelaram-se a opção ideal. Depois de algum tempo a tirar pregos e agrafos das mesmas, chegou a hora de reutilizar e inventar o que era possível e criar em tempo real com o material existente. A estrutura está construída, a base elevada e a estrutura de suporte do telhado também. Com duas paletes de menores dimensões ainda conseguímos fazer umas portadas… Ficam a faltar os painéis laterais e traseiros e um telhado. Mais uns ajustes e materiais e o pequeno abrigo rapidamente ficará pronto.

During today, we’ve been planning the best way to build a small shelter spending the least possible. Once more the pallets or parts of it that we still had lying around were a great choice. After some time removing nails and staples from it, was time to reuse and create what was possible, on the fly, with the materials we had available. The structure is built, also the raised base and the roof structure are ready. With two small sized pallets we will be able to build some wood doors… It still lacks side and back panels and the roof. A few more details and some more materials and the small shelter will be ready in no time.
