Finalmente conseguimos montar a solução off-grid que nos permite ter água quente a lenha e alimentada por um depósito superior, tudo por gravidade.
A água vem do depósito, é pré-aquecida solarmente no telhado e alimenta a bailarina na entrada de água fria. A bailarina é alimentada por um fogão foguete de tijolo refractário, que aquece a restante água. A água quente sobe por termossifão e é extraída por gravidade! Hoje é dia de festejar! Uma solução completamente independente da rede, ecológica e sustentável! 😉

Finally we had the opportunity to assemble the off-grid solution that enable us to have hot water by gravity from an elevated tank, all year round.
The water exits the water tank, it gets pre-heated from solar energy on the roof and gets straight in the “bailarina” cold water inlet. The “bailarina” water gets heated by a fired brick rocket stove. This heated water moves up by thermosiphon and exits the hose by gravity! Today is celebration day! A truly off-grid, ecological, and sustainable independent solution! 😉
