Depois de uma noite de quarto crescente, este dia de sol levou aos 100% a nossa bateria de 78Ah. Continuámos as arrumações e a criação de infra-estruturas temporárias. Criámos uma bancada de cozinha exterior com um velho escorredor de mármore e ainda uma forma de unirmos diferentes mangueiras através torneiras, adaptadores e conexões rápidas reutilizadas para levar a água do furo para a cozinha do yurt e para o duche exterior! 😉
After a crescent moon night, this sunny day fully charged our 78Ah battery. We continued cleaning up and created some basic temporary structures. We built an outdoor balcony reusing and old marble stone drainer and we also create a way to connect multiple hoses, reusing faucets, adaptors and garden hose quick connectors so we could bring water from the well to the yurt’s kitchen and the outdoor shower! 😉
Durante os últimos dois dias temos vindo a limpar, a instalar equipamentos e a transportar os nossos pertences para o nosso abrigo móvel. Tratámos da canalização e das entradas de água, mas ainda não ligámos à bomba. Instalámos temporariamente o nosso sistema solar a 12v, o que nos deu a oportunidade de voltar a reavaliar, a procurar e a estudar a melhor forma de alimentarmos os nossos conceitos móveis unicamente com corrente contínua a 12v proveniente da bateria. Conseguimos resolver o problema utilizando um KIT de luzes DIODE do IKEA, eliminando o conversor 220v que acompanha o referido kit de lâmpadas e conectando as mesmas directamente ao controlador solar do nosso sistema. Deixámos de utilizar o exigente e pouco eficiente inversor de corrente para questões de iluminação! 😉
Hoje reutilizámos alguns materiais que encontrámos no terreno e construímos um chuveiro exterior temporário. Colocámos ainda um depósito elevado de 125L para lavar loiça, materiais, ferramentas de jardinagem e também para regar as plantas. A plataforma metálica côncava que utilizámos como suporte do depósito terá também a função de dar de beber a insectos beneficiários.
The past couple of days we’ve been cleaning, installing equipments and moving our belongings to the mobile shelter. We took care of the yurt plumbing and water connections but we haven’t connected it yet to the water pump. We temporarily installed the 12v solar electric system, which gave us the opportunity to reevaluate, search and study the best way to feed our mobile concepts exclusively with 12v Direct Current from the battery. We were successful, using a DIODE led kit from IKEA, discarding the 220v converter that came with the lamps and connecting it directly to our Solar System Controller. No more need to use the less efficient and demanding current inverter for lighting! 😉
Today we reused some of the materials we found on the land and we built a temporary outdoor shower and an elevated 125L water tank for washing the dishes, materials, gardening tools and also to water the plants. The concave metal platform we used to support the water tank will also serve as a water feeding system for beneficial insects.
